Keep Slim, Eat Slowly

What is the relation between keeping our body slim with eat slowly manner? I read from the research report that our brain nerve, called hypothalamus need time for about 20 minutes to detect that our stomach is already sated. It means, if we eat in hurry, our brain will 20 minutes late in detecting our stomach’s content, and it means we eat too much from stomach capacity. Imagine how many foods go into our stomach during 20 minutes. If we eat slowly, our brain will have time to response to the sated signal of stomach, and we stop eat just in the right time.
The expert suggests that the food in our mouth is chewed for 33 times before we swallow it. Hmmm…1, 2, 3,….. I never think about chewing my food.
